Michigan Fitness Trainer, Lisa M. Wolfe, releases two fitness books combining the ordinary with the unusual.

Howell, MI July 5, 2004 -- Lisa M. Wolfe’s fifteen years of experience in the fitness industry has led her into a teaching style of combining elements of health and wellness. Her first book "YogaBand" combines traditional yoga with exercise resistance bands. She came up with this idea in her sleep, taught it to her yoga class, wrote an article for IDEA Health and Fitness Source, and Fitness Magazine featured the workout. The exercise is designed to promote strength, flexibility and relaxation. The focus is on the strengthening portion of the workout. The combination reduces time spent in two separate exercise routines.

Her second book "Enjoy the Ride" is an exercise book for motorcyclists. One may not think of combing exercise and motorcycling, but while on her way to teaching a yoga class, Lisa followed behind a man on a motorcycle and thought of how yoga could benefit him. That led to a study of the various postures in which different bikes place the body. "Enjoy the Ride" shows specific strengthening, stretching and yoga exercises for every type of motorcycle rider.

Along with the YogaBand Book, Lisa has released The Beginner’s YogaBand Workout Video. Lisa guides viewers through 35 minutes of a workout that will challenge the body. For traditional yogis or those new to exercise, YogaBand will find a place in a workout regimen.

Lisa, and Wish Publishing, released the YogaBand book at this year’s Book Expo of America in Chicago. It was well received. She will be presenting the workout at the Midwest Fitness Mania, also in Chicago, this October 2004. The event hosts thousands of fitness instructors taking the weekend opportunity to learn or improve their teaching skills. She has also been asked to present an aqua fitness class and a personal training workshop.

Lisa has an Associates Degree in Exercise Science, is an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, is a YogaFit certified instructor, has fifteen years of experience in the fitness industry including owning her own gym, is a freelance fitness writer for various magazines and is a homeschooling mother of two.

The combination of an ordinary exercise routine with an unusual element challenges and stimulates the body. Lisa’s passion is to keep fitness fun. Her participants appreciate the variety she offers with each class. They know their workouts will never be the same and neither will their bodies.
